Sonali Ray is a Bangalore-based hairstylist and aesthetician with international hairstyle training and mastery across regional and fashion looks. She spent four-plus years honing her craft at Zorains Studio & Academy, where she led international hairstyle training sessions for diverse groups of stylists — from basic to advanced South Indian, North Indian, era and fashion hairstyles.
With deep knowledge of makeup and hair products and styling tools, and proficiency in both South Indian and Gujarati saree-draping, she now works as a freelance trainer and professional international hairstylist. Over two-plus years of teaching she has built a five-discipline training practice — microblading, eyelash extensions, eyelash lifting & tinting, eyebrow lamination & tinting, and BB glow — guiding new artists from first touch to professional finish.
From 2020 to 2023 at Zorains Studio & Academy, Sonali led basic-to-advanced hairstyle training and ran 5+ specialist programmes across microblading, lashes and brows — alongside hands-on bridal styling and saree-draping. Today she trains independently and works as a professional international hairstylist, having fulfilled bookings for clients across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala — and she travels for weddings and shoots.

Sonali completed her advanced hairstyling certification at AM Haircraft — the internationally recognised academy founded by celebrity hairstylist Abhishek Malik (@amhaircraft), known the world over for commercial and editorial hairstyling.
The training sharpened her command of the latest international techniques — the craft she now brings to every bride and passes on to the artists she trains.
